Duathlon Nationals in Cary, NC--Race season begins

Let the racing season begin!  My first attempt at a Duathlon was a success.  5 mile run 35 mile bike...I think (somewhere around there) and a 5 mile run.  It was hot and I underestimated how hard the combination of run bike run would be.  I was super happy not to be swimming!  I finished first in my age group and 4th overall.  It was a fun race and I would be up for doing another one one day.  So many races and so little time!  This was a big racing year for me.  The most tri's I have done in a year so far.  It was fun, but costly.  Yikes!  Again, I have my wonderful husband who supports my crazy dreams.
