Polar Express 2014 and a fun trip with the Turner family!

All ABOARD!!  We sat in the Silver Comet car this year.  Here are the kiddos getting ready for the big ride to the North Pole.  Yummy treat bags and delicious hot cocoa make the trip even better.
Filled to the brim with whipped cream.
Lucas telling Santa what he would like this year for Christmas.  I don't think his list ever has an end.

All anxiously awaiting the conductor to come by and punch their golden tickets.

Four happy kids with freshly stamped golden tickets.

Chatting it up with the conductor was a highlight of the ride.

The next afternoon was spent touring the Grove Park Inn and the gingerbread house displays.
We could never get them to look at the same time.  The girls never mind getting their photo taken and usually pose to do so.  My boys hate it, I mean, really, they hate it!  This was the best I got.  Maybe Kelly got a better one!

Ready. To. Go. Home!

Christmas cookie making at the Ferris household

I think these cookies were more sugar and decoration than actual cookie.  The boys loved decorating their own cookies and thanks to the Ferris family for having us over and providing every icing color and sprinkle assortment from Washington County.

Good times with good friends!

The whole gang having dinner together before hitting the streets to watch the Bristol Christmas parade!

 Ho, Ho, Ho, Merry Christmas!!

First snow 2014

We had a beautiful white Thanksgiving!!  Ha, not a white Christmas this year but a white turkey day!

First attempt for the year at sledding.  We gave it a good try but there wasn't quite enough snow to really get some good runs in.

Tree Hunt!

We have several artificial trees that go up in the house but we still search every year for the perfect live tree to go in our family room.  This year Linden and Eli were visiting and able to join our family for the great tree hunt.
Stopping for a picture.  This may have been their choice at first.  I think they loved every tree, really.  It was hard to choose and to get 4 little ones to agree on the same tree.  It was fun and the kids had a blast running around the tree lot.

David and Kevin were in on the action as well.

Found it!!  The most beautiful tree in the county!

Lots and lots of fun decorating!
