Here we go! The Dawson family and the Simmons family wake up the sleepy little airport in Johnson City, TN. The first leg of our trip started around 5am with 4 excited little boys and 4 excited and sleepy moms and dads. I believe we flew out around 7am to Atlanta. It took a little time to get two families and 12 bags of luggage through check in!

Cards and waiting around in the airport with friends is a great way to pass the time. There are a lot of things I don't like about flying and at the top of the list is the day of "hurrying up to wait."

The plane rides were uneventful and the boys were fantastic. They all slept on and off most of the way. There wasn't much time between Atlanta and Hayden which was really nice. The big boys rode together and we had to divide up the little guys with parents. I wonder if all the kids will be able to ride together next year. Im guessing that may be a little overly ambitious for Lucas and Blaine!
