Okay, so I have a good start on my catching up. My goal is to be caught up by the end of the week! Hope these pictures keep you coming back for more!

wedding day

Dancing.

More dancing!

" What was your favorite part of the wedding Hunter?" "The dancing mommy!"

They all danced and danced and danced!

Lucas and Nana. He loves her and she kept him quiet and happy the whole time. He enjoyed all the people and watching Chloe, Hunter and Olivia dance.

My cousin Bridget and her husband. Check out the background, isn't it amazing? It was the most beautiful snowfall that day. I wish them all the happiness in the world.

Flower girl and ring bearer. They had a blast and did a really good job. We thought Hunter might be too shy, but he marched right down the isle and took his spot next to Chole. She is a great one to follow and doesn't really have a shy bone is her body.

Aren't they beautiful and handsome?

Fun at home

My handsome husband posing for the camera (and for Papa's Christmas present..hehehe!)
Painting is always a big hit at our house. For the first time Hunter was really trying to paint inside the lines. He is one of order. Most kids would just mix all the paints together, not Hunter. He is a great dipper and wiper before moving on to another color. I have a feeling that Lucas may be a great color mixer! This will drive Hunter crazy!
Lucas loves Hunter and always wants to be a part of what he is doing. It is amazing to watch how fast he is growing and how quickly he is learning new things. Must be the result of having a constant companion and a great older brother.
Lucas has outgrown his carseat so this was the box from his new one. This provided our household with 2 days of fun. It was a car, a pirate ship, a cave and a bus at some point or another.

Which one looks like trouble?

I am guessing he was a handy man prince in this picture. Who knows! Hunter has the best imagination and frequently changes into many forms of play.

We were fininshing up decorations downstairs before bedtime. Lucas loves Christmas and all of the decorations. He did a great job staying out of the tree. David and I were a little worried he might try and eat all the ornaments or pull the tree down on himself, but he was satisfied to just sit and look at it....most of the time!
Still has those adorable dimples. He fell and hit his eye and while looking back at these pictures I just can't remeber how he did it. This injury looks like something I should remember, but it doesn't ring a bell.

Baby exercises for daddy. This is about the only kind of exercise we are guarunteed on a daily basis!

One great afternooon

Really sweet picture.

I think he was trying to decide what to do first.

Wee, wee, weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!

Lucas loves,

loves loves to swing!

Don't you just love that sweet, chubby little face?

Only big boys can climb up the slide. Hunter has been waiting his whole life to be able to do this. Why do all kids think this is the best way to have fun on the slide. I mean who hasn't been to the park and seen at least half a dozen kiddos trying to climb up the slide?

You can't catch me!

You know those days that seem totally out of place but are so welcoming when they occur. Like a balmy 60 degrees in the middle of Jan or a cool 70 in the middle of August. This was one of those days. It was a warm and sunny afternoon in the middle of November. We all headed to the playground in Damascus. We really enjoy this spot because it is rarely crowded and is situated right along side the Appalachain Trail. Just right around the corner is the Creeper Trail and the quaint downtown of Damascus. We had a wonderful afternoon and then headed to the local pizza house for dinner. By the time the sun went down we were all quickly reminded that it was November and not June. It was a great day and one that I will hope to always remember.

Thanksgiving and the rest of FALL!

Granny at Thanksgiving. I am sad to say this was our last Thanksgiving physically together. From now on we will share each holiday with her in our memories and in our hearts. She loved getting together and sharing with her family, especially all her great grand children! She passed away on February 9th, 2011 at the Hospice home in Mt. Airy with her family at the bedside.

All the great grand children playing, except for Lucas who is probably crawling around on the floor somewhere.

Yes, those are boxes of pizza! What an alternative way to celebrate Thanksgiving. It gets harder and harder every year to pick a date to all get together. David and Chris each have very different work schedules so we try to accomodate for everyone. Unfortunately, David had to work on Thanksgiving this year, but would be off for Christmas. Trina, a good friend of Jenny's joined us this year. We have a very loving and generous family that embraces others to share in our family traditions. I hope that I can teach my boys to be the same way. The more the merrier!

Little Lucas trying to help Gaga decorate the tree. He was in charge of the limbs. He couldn't possibly get into too much trouble with that...right? Doesn't he just look like trouble?

Beautiful Chloe was also helping set up the tree. The girl always has time to pose for a picture.

And Hunter doing the best he could to untangle the lights.

The crew getting it all set up.

Gaga was a good sport. The end result was beautiful even if it did take 4 million hours to get done!

Not sure what Hunter has in his mouth or why Aunt Jenny is carrying him around. This was during our Thanksgiving with my mom's side of the family.
My other child with something in his mouth. I think this is one of Papa's flashlights.

Hunter really likes to take samples right out of the bowl.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and fall season. The kids are growing up so quickly. Lucas is crawling like a crazy person and pulling up on anything he can get a toe hold on!

where to start...

Okay, for those of you who have been waiting for videos, I have given up for the time being on trying to post them. For some reason blogger is not letting me put them up so you are going to be stuck reading my posts and looking through pictures. I will keep trying to update the videos because I have some really great ones but for now let's just see if I can get caught up!

Brotherly stuff

Made him try on the whole outfit. He really did like it, regardless of this face.
Lucas and Abby watching mommy and daddy clean up the yard from a tree that fell over during a storm. I just love this picture.

Having fun being pulled around in the bean bag!

Hunter making sure Lucas is holding on tight before entering the tunnel.

Just play..Hunter has the best imagination and can spend hours being a police officer, fireman, or any kind of workman or farmer. Sometimes he refuses to answer me unless I call him by his new name, like farmer Hunter or Sam the fireman or Tom the helicopter pilot (I could go on all day here) He often includes Lucas in on the fun, but he usually ends up being some kind of animal!
