We finally did it! We biked the entire Creeper Trail! Mom was watching the kiddos and we went out for a ride and managed make it all the way to White Top Station. It was a crazy fun adventure from the start. The trail was crowded so we were dodging folks all the way to Damascus where my shifter literally broke off the bike. I had to ride the remainder of the trail in one gear! Once at the top it started to pour rain. Thankfully, it was just a heavy shower and not a thunderstorm but the trail become a muddy mud pit and we were a nasty mess by the time we got home.
All you could see were the whites of our eyes. They would have been dirty too had we not been riding with glasses.
Yes, that is mud and Creeper Trail dirt....I am not wearing tights.
