Some days you just need your mom. Today was one of those kind of days for Lucas. I got a call from the school saying he didn't feel well. I went to get him and we came home together. I could see that he didn't seem too under the weather so I asked if he wanted to go outside and get some fresh air. He wanted to go swing and we had a really nice afternoon together.
Look at that sweet face. I love him to the moon and back. He later told me that he missed me so much and just wanted to be with me for the day. I am so glad he made the call and we got to share that time together. We can't have sick days all the time and I am truly glad he wasn't sick, but we all need a mommy day once in awhile.
